Process

Having a process is crucial to achieving desired results. You can familiarize yourself with my process, so you know exactly what to expect and when to expect it.

1. Discussion

We talk about your business, your goals, and any concerns you may have. This is where we dive into the details. I consider this to be the most important part of the process. You get the chance to fully elaborate on your business. Through this discussion, I learn about your business so we get on the same page. If I don't understand your business, we're going to have trouble creating a successful design. The final design should align with achieving your goals.

2. Contract & Initial Payment

In order for us to have a successful relationship, expectations need to be set. This is for our mutual benefit. I will explain what you are to expect of me and vice versa. Once the contract has been signed by us both and the initial payment (50% of total) has been accepted, I can begin the process of making you a kickass design!

3. Research

I take everything we've discussed and use it to guide my research to gain any additional information that is necessary to get a full understanding of your project/industry.

4. Mood Board

Together, we develop a mood board based on your goals and preferences because collaboration is key! I'll refer to this throughout the design phase.

5. Concept Ideation

Following our discussion and development of a mood board, I begin sketching out ideas. I go through tons of concepts, never settling on the first idea. This collection of ideas goes through a strict refinement process until the most successful option is left.

6. Sketching

With the chosen concept at hand, I sketch out a larger version, building upon each previous layer. This process is repeated until the final piece is just right.

7. Vector

If necessary, the final refined drawing is brought into the computer and vectorized for digital output. Your logo is meticulously crafter through plotting anchor points and pulling handles, until each curve is finessed to perfection.

8. Final Deliverables

Upon receiving final payment, I'll send you the final deliverables including your newly vectorized logo as well as a brand guideline to instruct you on how to best use your new design.
